Scene-It, Music edition January 14, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Not extremely extension on the music trivia (wish there were more pre-1970's trivia), but it is a fun game.
group fun with scene it January 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this as a gift for my adult nephew. He has the "Scene It Movie Version" and we have played it at family gatherings and it was fun for all ages. When I saw the music version I thought it would be a perfect gift for him. He is a music teacher by profession and our whole family is very musical. We played it right after he opened it. It's a perfect game for anyone of any age that likes music and trivia.
We love music January 7, 2008 We are a family that enjoys music. We have the Scene It DVD game and we have played it so many times, others refuse to play with us. We know too much. Our kids (18 and 21) enjoy music so I thought this game would be a good idea. It was, we all enjoyed playing. It offered a wide variety of music and it was addicting. There are many areas that test your skills so anyone can play.
Pretty fun but can get old after about 3 hours of play January 7, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this as a Christmas present for my friend so of course, the night he opened it, we had to play. We decided to play the long version (opening the gameboard all the way and only moving our pieces if we got a question right) which made the game last about 3 HOURS. The past reviews are right. It's challenging to someone who knows a lot about music (the friend I bought this for knows every back story about every song on every album for every band - or so he thought) and it's fun for people who really don't know anything (as his girlfriend showed by winning but still not knowing a Bob Dylan song when she heard one). Overall, it was fun because the questions spanned from the '50's to the '90's, plus I think a few questions from the 2000's. I love the '60's so I got to wow my friends with my knowledge and we all know the '90's pretty well as that's when we were all in high school. I say it's educational because we still learned some interesting things from the game. I'd recommend this to anyone from their late teens to their 70's.
Excellent game August 23, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Just what I expected from the Scene It games.....Original video clips from MTV years....Some questions too easy, but this is good for the minor music fan.....
