Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Surprisingly good, not what it seems.   February 28, 2002

If you could see the cover art, you probably wouldn't buy this disc. Amaturish artwork and 80's style lettering for "Electric Boogaloo." The name confuses me too, La Boheme? I woudn't have imagined that they play some good alternative rock tunes and even some good ballads (and I'm not much for ballads). Sometimes they sound like the Ocean Blue, sometimes a little like Sloan, sometimes harder, sometimes they have a little bit of a polished punk edge. They sound like a "local band" no matter where you live. But don't get me wrong, they don't sound like garage flunkies, their music is refined and organized. I got this disc free but it is good enough to make it into my rotation. 12 tracks, worth the money.
