It's really hard to go wrong with this wonderful electric skillet. Ease of use and cleanup has to be the most alluring factors when considering buying a skillet, and this product does very well on both of these levels.

Works nicely, heats up fast. It is quite large which is great, but you need lots of counter space for it.

This is, by far, the best skillet I have ever owned. It cleans up very easily, has nice high side, large capacity, and even heating. If you are looking for an electric skillet....this is the one!!

I bought the Presto 16-inch electric skillet with glass cover(06852) on 8/24/06 from Amazon.com. I was very satisfied with this product until yesterday when it was being used to heat chicken on the Warm setting. Without warning the cover exploded, spraying glass from the center of the cover everywhere. If I had been standing near it at the time I could have been seriously injured. I checked on the Internet and discovered that other people have experienced the same problem with other glass covered electric cookware. I will be replacing this unit with a metal-covered Presto electric skillet model 06850.

I am very happy with the purchase of my Presto Electric Fry pan.
So far I have had nothing but good experiences with my purchases that have been made throught Amazon.
