Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Color changes with the water temperature! Red = Hot Blue = Cold New and Improved! Now Faucet Light changes color based upon the water temperature. It's "blue" when the water is cold or simply turned "on." When the temperature reaches 89 F, it changes to "red," alerting you that the water is getting "hot"! Fun and functional, it's ideal for the kid's bathroom and a smart gift for older people, too! Works on most USA faucets and includes "universal adaptors" for 95% coverage.

1 out of 5 stars Fun until it lasts   December 1, 2008
I bought this product along with the shower head. The shower head from this company worked great due to being powered by water. However, the faucet light is powered by batteries. This is supposed to be activated when water flows through it. This worked fine for two weeks. After this the faucet light would just turn on in the middle of the night with no flowing water and then turn off in couple of hours. Eventually the batteries finally died. What made my experience worse was that the outside shell of this faucet started to lose its coating. This has now become just an add-on to my tap.

4 out of 5 stars Great except for ...   October 21, 2008
I bought this for the kitchen sink because it kept burning people with hot water. Installing it was easy EXCEPT that it doesn't quite fit in the faucet. It's just a little bit too large so it constantly falls off. I am going to get an adapter of sorts to fix this. Other than that, I absolutely love this.

One added bonus is that the faucet no longer splashes when I turn on the water, like it used to.

5 out of 5 stars Light up faucet   August 3, 2008
I love this product. Just a simple pleasure, affordable and easy to install. It doesnt last forever so I have been a returning customer for a few years and have bought several with a blue light. The original one was a gift. This is the first one I have had that has a red light to indicate hot water.

3 out of 5 stars Very Neat, but does not last   July 7, 2008
I purchased two of these, one for myself and one for my parents. They are very neat and work great for about 6 to 12 months. The one I use does not always light up anymore and the one my parents have stopped working altogether. After taking them apart I noticed a condsiderable amount of rust on the contacts inside. I scraped some of the rust off and got 1 of the 2 back in perfect working order. The other one no longer will light up red in hot water, only stays blue. With how it's rusting I'm sure they will stop working again soon. It's not too expensive and I could buy new ones...just be aware that these are not built to last like the faucet you are screwing it onto. They are good for a year or less as a neat toy and a conversation piece at parties. Luckily the light does not affect the water flow at all and it is still small and not an eyesore on the faucet.

5 out of 5 stars It's just fun   April 7, 2008
Okay, it does have some functional value so you can see at a glance if it's hot yet like say if you are standing at the stove. Mostly though, it's just incredibly fun. Just a little jolt of pleasure whenever I turn the water on and the blue light comes on. I accidentally left mine behind when I moved and even though I tried to talk myself out of it, I had to run out and get another one. It's also great when a friend turns on the water unwarned and jumps back in alarm :)
