This is a limited edition cast pewter & cork soccer player (or football as the game is known outside of North America) wine bottle stopper with attached ring. This beautiful cork wine stopper is a great way to top your favorite vintage wine! The stopper is made of cast pewter and real cork. The figure on top of the cork is done in cast pewter and is a very realistic representation of the figure. You can see the beautiful detailing, from the grooves on the figure to the rope motif that edges the stopper at the base. Very elegant and playful, this stopper is sure to impress! The cork stopper is attached to a large ring by a chain (both the chain and the ring are also made of pewter). This is a great way to keep your cork from getting lost when you are pouring your wine - simply slip the ring around the bottle's neck and serve! Approximate Dimensions: 3"H by 1"W.
