 Practical and simple elegance November 24, 2008
I've had one set of these dishes for five years and just purchased another matching set to go with my larger apartment. They are pretty difficult to break - I have a history of breaking dishes while washing them, and I've never broken any of these, despite wearing slippery gloves while rinsing them. The plain, dark white design is great for table setting - it highlights your pretty napkins and/or centerpiece without giving the table that cluttered look.

Having lived in Belgium for the last 28 years, when a friend of mine offered to give me some space on her container, I knew right then and there just what I wanted to ship! Correlle dishes! I picked out the sand color because I can dress them up of use them for everyday. The dishes take up 1/3 of the space other dishes would. They don't break and keep their shine! And Amazon made it so easy, great price, all 6 sets in stock, 2 day shipping!

Great unpretentious, everyday dishes that are:
*Not expensive
*Easy to store in cubboard
*Easy to load in the dishwasher
*Made in the USA
The plain color coordinates easily with other dinnerware and table linens.
 Concerned about Amazon's pricing scheme rating based on false pricing scheme October 21, 2008
I got an email saying this set was on-sale for 19.99. So I went to buy it but on the site it says that it is on sale for 29.99 shipping from Target. So I went directly to the Target site and was amazed to see the list price is only $32.99 yet Amazon has their list price at $50+. Makes me wonder what else they have over priced. I like to shop at Amazon but now I am concerned. Make sure to double check the prices else where.
