Description Take three of Hollywood's hottest starts (Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg, Ted Danson), add one adorable baby girl, and the result is the funniest blockbuster comedy hit of the year! Three handsome Manhattan bachelors find their dating and mating rituals irreparably damaged when an unexpected new roommate -- complete with crib, pacifier, and dirty diaper -- shows up on their doorstep. This bouncing bundle of joy is anything but joyous -- until the trio's hilarious fathering instincts take over and she becomes "Daddy's Girl" to all three hunks. Blanketed with unexpected story twists and endless laughs, THREE MEN AND A BABY delivers pure enchantment for all!
Amazon.com Not nearly as good as the original French comedy, Three Men and a Cradle, upon which this is based, Three Men and a Baby nevertheless is decent brain candy directed with some crackle by Leonard Nimoy. Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg, and Ted Danson star as three swinging bachelor roommates who find a baby girl on their doorstep--the daughter of Danson's character (who doesn't know about her) by a woman (Nancy Travis) with whom he had a brief fling. The jokes about dirty diapers and feeding schedules are predictable, but the film gains real warmth from Selleck, who does a convincing job playing a fellow whose life is changed for the better by added responsibility. A distracting subplot involving some bad guys threatens to derail everything, and the ending is a bit unconvincing as filmed, but the virtues of this movie finally win out over its weaknesses. --Tom Keogh

I hate this movie April 25, 2008 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
Yes, it's a comedy, but it's just not funny watching 3 men act like silly fratboys with a baby. First of all, it's irresponsible. It drives me crazy how not only does the mother not know who the father is, but the rest of the men don't remember sleeping with this woman. That is just so irresponsible and annoying. Especially considering the day and age this movie was set in. Yes, I am being too serious about a movie. I know, but it's still an extremely silly and aggravating film except for the adorable little baby.
was that a ghost? April 18, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
i do like this movie but not as much as 3 men and a little lady. the only cool thing is there might be a ghost in this movie. which they have said that it is a cut out of ted dancen, but can you explained the gun standing there? watch the movie more closer. it when ted dancen calls his mom to come over and watch the baby. just ted dancen cut out or a real ghost? you be the judge.
Three Men and a Baby March 31, 2008 Fun and funny movie. Great acting, great story and plot. This movie never slumps or slows down. It is exciting from beginning to end. Perfect casting resulting in great comedic chemistry!
Three Men and a Baby October 24, 2007 While it is an 80's film, it's innocent! Not one foul word (unless doo doo is offensive to you), no obscene footage (perhaps a baby's bottom is too much for you to handle?), no cars exploding (just a horse with an overweight cop on him). It's just cute clean fun! Dated? yeah...but....so WHAT? Enjoy! I do :)
how about two stars and a negative review September 23, 2007 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Three Men and a Baby is the kind of comedy film that did NOT date well at all. All those cheesy and dated effects used in the late 80's will probably take you back to those memorable years of your life when watching the movie, but unfortunately Three Men and a Baby will probably only remind you what the decade was like actually putting up with this style of comedy as popular entertainment at the time. It's not funny, it's somewhat annoying, severely dated, and it's just the kind of DVD you should avoid.
