The first program, Use of the Penalty Mark, examines in close detail the application of the laws relating to both penalty kicks and to kicks from the penalty mark to determine the result of a game - with the aid of computer graphics and examples from the 1990 World Cup Finals. The second program, Judging Challenges, puts the viewer in the position of the match referee. Presented with a series of forty clips of challenges, the viewer is required to make an instantaneous decision and judge whether or not an offence has been committed.
