Useful introduction to research from a number of fields that has relevance in the physical training of soccer players. However coaches looking for detailed programs and in-depth decriptions of exercises (and their use) will be disappointed.

This book was well researched, and offers all coaches a good approach to understanding and implementing good training programs. Good resource material for students and coaches alike. A must have for all coaches.
